Othersight Cast and Crew Party

Saturday we had our official cast and crew party. It was a blast! We barbecued hamburgers, watched a few rough cut scenes from the movie and had a hilarious time watching what we call "the cast & crew blooper reel" (So named because they may well bribe or blackmail the director to make sure they are the only ones who ever see it).
It was fantastic getting together with everyone again!

Editing

After a short break from all things movie related, we are back into the movie making process.

Director Jon Brewer has just finished editing scene 15 of Othersight, where some of the Othersight team members first visit Jewel. We're also working on marketing the movie.

Do any of our readers have thoughts of their own about how we could get the word out?

Please pray for wisdom, patience, blessing, strength, and that this movie would touch many lives.

Ian Pick-Ups

In the scene we shot Friday, Ian has a dream that leaves him with a sense of foreboding about the future.

Filming went very well, and we got in and out in a little over an hour (one of our shortest filming sessions yet).

On the subject of editing, the director is working on scene 11 of 116 and he says he is finding it fun to edit "awkward" scenes. Everything is still in a pretty rough cut state, but it is really neat watching Othersight slowly take form and come together.

Editing & More

Jon Brewer is three days into editing (he had to sort everything out before he could start) and we have another pick-up shoot taking place on Friday with "Ian".

What has been put together so far looks really good. I personally can't wait to see the film with music, sound, and special effects added to it. I think it's going to look great when all's said and done.

Please keep praying for us, editing is a very important and laborious process, and as the director is fond of saying, "A good edit can save a bad movie and a bad edit can ruin a good movie."

Thank you all for reading and praying.
