We've finally recast our "Akerra" so, outside of Anna's family (minor characters) and several extras, Othersight is almost completely cast.
The design of one of our sets has undergone several changes, but ended up coming out the better for it. Construction of the actual set starts this week. We are still working on creating the "look" of one of our villains, which has also undergone several recreations.
Things are really busy around here, so please keep praying for us. Filming starts Wednesday.
Othersight is an independently made Christian film about four teenagers who have the ability to perceive life not as it seems but as it really is. We created this blog to let people in on the production of this movie and to be able to participate in it if they want to. We will have more frequent updates once filming starts, as well as contests, photos, behind the scenes footage, and more.

Recent Progress
Another busy week: Our stunt team practiced again on Sunday. There was more location scouting and discussion and we have a few more actors on board! Time was spent figuring out lighting and working out shots and angles. We'll post pictures soon of several of our previously mentioned events as well as some from more recent happenings.

Bein Sidh Costumes
We've finally finished our Bein Sidh (pronounced "ban shee") costumes! The Bein Sidh, in ancient Celtic lore, were the heralds of death. They warned those who were about to die by wailing nearby. The wail was said to be so piercing that it could shatter glass. In certain cases, the Bein Sidh would be seen washing the garment or armor of the doomed person till blood ran from it. The Bein Sidh of "Othersight" share both the piercing wail and the fact that, wherever they go, death follows.

Benefit Dinner Update
Thank you for praying, the dinner went really well. We had about sixty people come and support us. Everyone together donated a little less than a thousand dollars. So, much thanks to everybody who came and/or donated to this project. Also, we want to give a big thank you to those who put the event together, they did a fantastic job on the decorations, meal, and everything else. So, thank you very, very much.

Costumes, T-shirts, Meetings and More!
Hey, everyone! Things are really picking up around here!
This week we designed, ordered and received our "Othersight: Experience the Gift" t-shirts. White on black with our eye logo, the print job was handled by TC Vision Printing. They did a great job getting the lot to us on short notice.
We are still working to acquire insurance for a location that plays an integral part in the film. Prayer would be much appreciated in this area since the underwriter has been slow to address our request.
Our first Othersight Team meeting was held Wednesday, and in spite of a couple of "hiccups" went quite well. It looks like everyone will work great with each other.
Thursday was spent making contacts and going location scouting. There is still more work to be done in that area, but it is coming together. We also received two more costume and supply shipments.
Today, we began set up for the benefit dinner being held at New Hope Church on Saturday. Anyone local is invited to attend. Contact us via ianmcgregor1776@gmail.com.
If you are unable to attend, please pray that all goes well tomorrow and that everything will come together quickly and smoothly.
Thank you all.
